compaired to past managers the fact we have signed say suarez for 22 million instead of getting 3 mediocre players for the same price is refreshing. still early days kenny hasnt even been here for a year yet so lets see how the rest do before we judge. the only signing i have been unhappy with is carroll simply for the price tag for such a limited player. other than that suarez hendo enrique and downing look good business.
individualy suarez is clearly 10 enrique is 8 so far bellamy is 8 given he was free transfer adam is 6 clearly was never good enough in the first place henderson is 4 at best downing is 5 given his age and cost carrol is 3 doni is 2 coates will prove to be 8 id say or 9. so overall assesment is some good signings but also some terrible expensive mistakes.overall assesment with 110 funds available and negatives negating some very good pluses is 4 or 5 out of ten collectivly at best.
two, the only questions you should be asking yourself are, have we improved? is our first 11 better than last season? is our bench better? answer is and undoubtably, unequivocally; YES! let the people in charge worry about the figures involved, and they don't look too worried to me.
