i can see bellamy, playing on the shoulder of the last defender and saurez just behind in a free role causing all sorts of trouble for defenders.

carroll will be KD plan B in certain games.

i think KD will rotate carroll n bellamy in certain games ie i wud play bellamy ahead of carroll against manuare, city, chelsea, spurs cuzz these teams have defenders with no serious pace and they will be hit on the counter attack with players like sg(wen fit) downing, hendo, saurez, bellamy in the team.

35 million for a plan B...

Knock this 35million on the head,we had to pay that to get him,we were shafted,if Torres wasn't going to Chelsea,Carroll would have cost about 20million,stop using that figure to beat him,it is pathetic.

Citeh have 100 mill on the bench every game it's called depth.

Al least now we have a plan B because in the past we haven't had the luxury! Carrol will come good and it's great to have depth in the squad finally which is something we've lacked for many a season!

we are putting more crosses than ever in the box and andy is no where to be seen. he looks a bit to slow for the style we play, ill say it again andy carroll will be back at newcastle within 2 seasons.

+1. Funny how people forget Carroll struggled with injury all of last season, and prior to the opening game against Sunderland this season had barely even seen his strike partner. He will take time to find his role in this squad that plays more around Suarez than him, and as long as we're winning games does that really matter?

That said, he doesn't look as sharp as I would have expected, but I'm hoping people will give him time rather than making it more difficult for him to come good. Why does everyone get on the back of one of our own when he's struggling for form and fitness rather than encouraging him? That's not the Liverpool Way, is it?

that thing people say about torres dictatating what we paid for carroll does my head in. anyone who watched football knows carroll is worth 10-12 million maximum. 35 million could have been spent a lot more wisely, and i feel had any other manager done this he would have been torn to shreds.

ill say it again carroll will be back on tyneside within 2 seasons
