I'm gutted, we signed henderdson for 20 mil, a guy that had one good season and is only starting his career. Then, we sell lfc best player of last season for peanuts. Now we stuck with no midfield backup. Bad move comolli.
never really rated him as high as others so am not that bothered am more [oops] off we didnt get any player in exchange or get more money
Same as. I'm just annoyed at the manner and timing of it. When he's played this season (which wasn't much) he was anonymous and looked like he didn't want to be there, so not entirely surprising.

midfielders at the club now gerrard, henderson, spearing, lucas, adam, maxi, shelvey, midfield/forwards kuyt,bellamy,downing , yes i backed him and liked meireles as a player but good riddence .
How can you not rate meireles. His proved himself in Portugal, at international level, can pass, tackle, is creative and can shoot. If adams gets injured and Stevie G are out, who do you put in there?
meireles wasnt always my fave i think i was one of the 1st to get on his back when we 1st got him. as i said in another thread he cant tackle and gets bossed about, would have been worth keeping as squad player no more
