Well what did everyone think of him last night???. I would love to see him play more games, He is a bit on the small side but reserves football is even more physical than the first team and he has always been a good player there. I see him developing into a Mash style of player with a lot more going forward, I loved the way he always looked for the positive ball instead of the safe sideways or back ways ball

yeah he has massive potentail, but i wonder if his isze is a draw back for him, but remember Steve Highway naming him as being good enough for first team football a few years ago after they won the youth cup, i hope he gets more games this season i think he will too

Would be very interesting to see him play alongside Stevie & Torres and the rest of the "normal" starting XI...
He had a good game yesterday and i think he could do even better if he gets the chance more often...

I thought he did better in the 2nd half behind Ngog, which he has admitted he has played that role in the reserves.

i don't like him think he could only ever play in 3 man centre midfield trio, he will end up at bolton or a team of the like

the lad is defo the best english youngster we have had since gerrard ...... in fact the best youngster of all imo ...... he managed to look good playing at centre half in the youth teams despite being a short arse, stepped up to reserve level with consumate ease and should (imo anyway) be getting eased into regular first team action by now ...... personally i would have been happy for us to have taken the money for mash, pulled gerrard back into central mid alongside spearing and bought a player to play with torres with the money we got from selling mash

He reminds me of where Lucas was a season or two ago. Gives the ball away too easily and is far too light weight. Has potential to be reasonable, but nowhere near as good as some rose tinted reports would suggest.

far too lightweight? you haven't seen enough of him or are pre-judging him based on his size .... he reminds me of carra in that he likes the rough and tumble side of the game and can certainly handle it if it gets physical

He'll get his chance. Just hope it's with us.
