Interesting remark about "learning and coaching vs 70% talent". Seems Voronin is the 1st cat, except that at late 20s he is still learning how to find the net!
Let's hope that Rafa will get a couple of the 2nd cat players, feels like Rafael VDV and David Silva fall into this cat!
BTW, I didn't think Riise did too bad during his time at Pool, scored some cracking goals...but that's just me....

Risse did score some great goals but to me personally he had a weak point that was his right foot, that made him one dimensional.
That own goal Vs chelsea, if he had a slightly improved right foot, he woudnt hav netted in his own goal. I grateful for his games and goals. All players had a weak foot, but his was pathetic at this level. yea.
Voronin could spring a surprise, he certainly doesnt have pace, but he could pull of a few neat passes inside the 18 yard.

owen day is past,no worth talking !!! Id love to think so, but in all honesty, we got to look at this Owen thing from all sides. Yes we are bitter, i for one am gutted to see him score and celebrate for a crap team like Mancs. Owen was a legend for this club, hold many records and the 7th highest goal scorer of all times for LFC. So he caanot just be dismissed as past, yea. I think cos we gutted to see him in Mancs team we dismissing him as past. Well Paul Ince managed to score for Liverpool against Man United.... That hurt fergie and many united fans, Ince celebrated his goals, i remember.. Lets hope we dont see little Judas do teh same to us

there's buying a player and it not working out and then there buying a small lump of lard for 8million and sticking him in at left back. the latter is inexcusable Frankly speaking, THANK GOODNESS we have Insua and Aurelio to cover at leftback. Would have cried if we only had Dossena and some kids!
