Hey Reds
Did you see how owen scored that goal ysterday ??
That was great and I think Owen is Doing well ..
But The question is " Why didn't RAFA Get him back to Anfield " ?
Actually , Owen would not have rejected to return to Anfield
Frankly , Alex fergeson ain't that silly to sign a player who might not score goals ..
I strongely feel that Owen will play as good as he did in Liverpool some years earlier
I bet he would have been a good choice for liverpool If rafa had signed him !!
besides , He would have moved for free !
As a fact of matter , Owen is better than all liverpool strikers but Torres
comments ?

He is certainly better than Voronin, Ngog and we would have benifited from having him. But the fact that he walked from liverpool when rafa came in, i think that is a factor that Rafa like and hence didnt buy him.
i think its like "You snubbed me, now i snubb you"
Fowler is the guy we all love more than owen, robbie is my star, a loyay pure blood red.

yes he's better than Voronin and N'gog but i think everyone should stop bothering about it now, because he's now playing for the scum and celebrating goals like he has loved the club his whole life...Just forget about him, he's not worth it...

They way he celebrated for scoring for the scum was outrageous. He is a pr1ck for joing them. Lets not speak of him anymore.

comments ? Seriously, Owen is OLD news! Did you not see Ngog? He COULD be the next big striker for Pool in the next 2 years! And he's only 20!

He might be good, but not great, owen was great, its debatable whether he is still great. Torres is great... Im not saying he poor, but from what i see he isnt great.. good

Joe, agreed. Ngog is far from the finished article, but he has the potential and the possibility to become great.
Owen was great, but that was in the past. I'm not sure he can cut it now, maybe as the 3rd or 4th choice striker, but one can no longer depend on Owen to bang in the goals.
Let's take a look at Torres. Every time he gets the ball, people expect him to at least take a shot and possibly score. Owen, people are just hoping he still has some legs to chase after the balls. He's slower than before, and was not exactly the dribbler.
These are traits that Ngog seem to have. Some speed, and some dribbling skill. I'm not saying he will be the top striker. But between a potential ball-winner (in Ngog) and a washed-up ex England striker, I'll go for Ngog anytime!

i would not take owen back, i didnt want LFC to take him back, but at the end i said to myself "o well many players in the world would jump at a opportunity to go to madrid" so lets forgive and take him back. Obviously the gaffer chose otherwise, and now i will never forgive Owen for joining united...
I get your point on Ngog, but you know sometimes you get players that can learn and be coached to be footballers, then on other times you get a player that has 70% of the talent already he just nees guidance, i think Ngog falls into the first category, like Risse... Just my opinion
