I'll admit that I had my doubts about some of the signings we made, but I feel like I was proven wrong today. I think the new boys all made a fine showing today, particularly Adam and Henderson (who I was vey critical of initially). It looks as though Kenny has his act together. What did you guys thing of the new boys, particularly Henderson?

He did great. seen some similarities to a young stevie g (especially in his dangerous crossings).. very pleased.. adam @ 6 m real bargain

Good win, the new players are improving the team, and I'm excited to see more.

Enrique: had been emense since his first game. Moves up and down the wing quickly, and has beatin players while getting in some deadly crosses.

Downing: has been very good. He's one of those players, that every time he gets the ball, you expect him to do something good. Holds onto the ball well too.

Adam: Solid on the ball, has been passing the ball well and has been really solid in midfield. He has let players run passed him, and can be slow and give away a pass, but you can also see him getting more comfortable.

Henderson: Had an average first few games, but played well in this one. He's very young, so I can understand his fears, but much like Adam, he seemed much more comfortable against Bolton. Maybe he's just getting used to his eam mates.

Its a slap in the face for all those fans who were skeptical of Hendersen before even kicking a ball. Shame on you people. Great performance today by him, nevermind the goal.

wouldnt go that far snake just yet.whilst most welcome they will have to do it week in week out.what was pleasing though was that kenny has recognised carrol is slumbering and dropped him.this was crucial to the shape of the team and needed to be done.
bolton were toothless and worst bolton team i can remember for a while.that said im not bothered about them at all.
as i say very good to see but one swallow does not make a summer.

I'm not saying he is the next stevie G just yet, that would be foolish. But there were fans on here the blasted the signing of Hendersen and said he will be a flop. They should come out and put their hands up or just shut up and stop making judgements without thinking.

Ive said many a time that he was not good enough.should not of been bought.one goal does not change that.good hit .lucky to get a second chance to hit it though.

adam done well against similar evel players.lets see against the better teams,hopefully he will do it but lets see.

You can reserve your judgment on him while he continues to put in good performances and scoring goals for us, thats your choice, but evena blind man can see that he has bags of talent.

It was really unlucky that Downing nearly scoring, but wont be long......

Put it this way, Downing scoring that opening chance from Suarez means that Henderson wouldn't have scored and I think he needed that for his confidence.
