Bellamy is not a bad choice but not the best. If they let me choose any striker from the league currenly I would go for Sturridge or Odemwingie.

bellamy would a be a good back-up a signing to save a bit of money so we can go big next summer for a new striker.

both of them would probably cost at least 10m each.

kenny might be thinking that's it better to get bellamy for free and then evaluate the situation next summer, possibly meaning getting a new, younger striker...

I'd be happy with Bellamy returning as a back up striker. He can certainly offer us a lot, and would be a fairly ideal short-term fix.

I've heard the Scott Dann talk re-surfacing. Not sure how much truth is in it, but the fact that it's re-surfaced has grabbed my attention, because i thought that was kinda out the window. Soto leaving now, leaves us with only 3 senior CBs (Carra, Agger & Skrtel). I certainly think there'd be room for both Dann and Coates, especially considering Coates's age.
