Coates looks like he is only going to get better. If he turns out to be half as good as Hyypia i would be quite happy.

if a offer of 7m+ came in for skrtel, i say sell him and use that dosh to sign cahill ie ngog 4m,7m from skrtel sale, plus 5m on top and wilson on loan to bolton.

with cahill signed, agger can be rested, cuzz he can not play 3/4 games on the bounce with out picking up injuries, plus carra, coates, as our other centre halfs.

Isn't it abit mad how quickly this deal seems to have been concluded, it refreshing to have no saga involved in a signing.

I see he had an offer of City aswell according to his twitter but chose Liverpool instead, Suarez apparently has done alot to get this lad for us.

Don't know much about him really, I would have preferred Lugano who is much more experienced, and experience is what we need in a CB to fit straight in.
