The consensus seems to be keep him - and I can't understand why anyone would say anything else after he and Suarez won the game for us single handedly at Arsenal

With no Stevie G he should be in the starting 11 and until Carrol starts firing I'd be looking at a 4-3-3 with Downing, Kuyt and Suarez up front and Adam, Lucas and Merieles in midfield

look divvy if you read what i said and i quote i said raul meirelers is a player i enjoy watching play for liverpool like i enjoyed those other players mentioned , not once did i say raul meireles is better than steve mc mahon or terry mc dermott or ray kennedy , so i think specsavers should be you next move .

I'd swap Raul for Sturridge any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Meireles is a good player, but I think Sturridge would be the ideal backup in the striking department. Hes young with bags of potential.
