Totally agree Snakeye. Can't remember how long its been since we had a good run in this cup. Its never really been a priority but this year it should be something we should go for.

+ 1, we need to compete for the lot,hard on the squad but others do it,we need belief and winning a cup could help us on our way to getting the right mentality.

sorry mate the carling football league cup is the most realistic chance of a cup and must and should be taken very seriously , just baffles me you would think by the blase attitude that liverpool went to cup finals and won cups every season wake up people liverpool dont so take the competition serious and liverpool might .

I think you are right Faz I have not thought about it much but we do need to take it seriously.

Winning breathes confidence throughout the whole squad, therefore getting to wembley would be a great achievement.

If will field a really weak squad we run the risk of losing (remember pre-season games)

yous are missing the point, these players should be good enough to beat a team like exeter! we need to find out if these players are good enough to play for Liverpool and if they loose to exeter then we know they are not good enough to represent this club!!

right liverpool need to do its really baffles me the flippent attitude of some supporters , teams like stoke, everton, portsmouth,barnsley,cardiff and birmingham city have all played at wembley but not liverpool so this must be taken very very seriously .
