Meireles' finger poked at lucas was funny because he was just making fun of primpong but the first one was just not necessary, lucas got booked, there was no need to act in such a stupid manner.

No one has mentioned that the reason Carroll was 25 mil was because we had about 8 seconds to negotiate a deal after that rat torres walked out! plus it was in Jan! Thats no reason to do a bad deal. The first rule of negotation is never do it when you are on the back foot. If it was because Torres walked out we should have banked the money and waited until the right deal came up. If we had a world class striker in this team then I think we could be pushing for the title. But for me although we are doing well there is something missing and I think its up front Suraez excepted of course.

Carroll - KD sees something so we have to respect the face that he went and spent the 35M on him.
As for Suarez........
I have so much faith in the guy I stuck 50 Euro on him at 20/1 two weeks ago to be PFA player of the season this year.
He is going to be amazing.
Watch the way he plays. He sees the tackles coming, jumps our OR swivles. Today against Arsenal, he was on the wing, layed off the ball......no one picked up his run and then......bang. AS for Meirless,,,,,, he was deadly today when he came on..
Did anyone else see him putting the middle finger up and then Lucas I think grabbed his hand and pulled it down ??? Were the Arsenal fans giving him a hard time ???? good bet!

Let's get over the 35 million we paid for Carroll. It's done. Lets get behind the boy and support him. We all want him to do well. I agree and its too early to be on his back. But sooner or later he needs to meet us halfway because performances so far have been nowhere near good enough.

Would just like to add my voice to all the plaudits for Suarez, what a talent and what a performer! I think Kenny got selection, tactics and substitutions spot on yesterday, so well done Kenny! Regarding Carroll I think he did well enough against very good defending and but for a brilliant save by the keeper would have scored, and he also had another goal ruled out! AS Murph says, the switch from his style of attack to the classy trickery of Suarez (well timed by Kenny) undid them. Thought Enrique was outstanding! great to have the LB sorted with such a great signing! Kelly did well at RB also. Get in there now Kenny and sign up a top quality Center Half and we're definite top 4 and even title contenders!

no utd and city are better, chelsea will splash the cash. looking good for 4th though. We beat Utd and Chelsea last season with a weaker squad, they have both strengthened and so have we, so why can't we beat them again this season? inferiority complex???
