to be honest if we can get bellamy on the cheap from city i would have him back and he would make quality backup!

I hope so but it's gone disturbingly quiet on the Jose Enrique front - no mention of any interest in the media at all

So too about getting a central defender and shippong out those players deemed surplus to requirements

He was great in the 2008-09 season - and being replaced by Insua (who wasn't good defensively) for most of the next season was one reason why we didn't do anywhere near as well

Arsenal after Cahill but isn't willing to pay the 17million release clause. they should get Chamberlain from Southampton for 12 million.

17m for cahill when his only got 1yr left on his contract is a awful lot of money. 17m with 4yrs left on his contract is alot but with 1yr left is just crazy

The geordies have been looking at PSV'S Lb Erik Pieters,so we could hear some news on Enrique pretty soon...hopefully.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Yep and £12m for a 17 year old with no EPL experience is a huge amount. I thought we over paid for Henderson but that tops it IMO!

just to throw a spanner in the works, MERTESACKER today said he is interested in a move to the EPL, and i personal would rather have him than Dann or Cahill, i know he doesnt fit in with the owners philosophy and all that but still a quality plyer...

just my opinion...

god yeah, if mertesacker wanted to come to us, id have him in a heart beat he is a top top defender.
