In reality for the past 2 season reina hasn't really made any top saves or world class saves. Don't get me wrong he's been very consistent with no mistakes but his level of perfromance prob isn't the best in league at moment.
His last world class season was last season under Rafa where he almost single handedly got us into europa league places.
Hart last season was by far the best keeper in the league but his form has dipped to a similar level to reina where he's making no mistakes but no world class saves.
A world class keeper in my book is consistentancy over a 5-6 year period with a minimum of 2-3 years or world class form. Cassilas, reina, and van der saar are the only keepers under that group for last 4-5 years.
Recently only Valdes has seemed to steped it up to world class level and even then I reckon Hart is still better than him.

Bold statement and I completely disagree but at least you're founding it on a strong belief and I respect that.
Personally believe that Reina is far and away the best distributor of the ball in the Premiership, would widen that but don't watch enough foreign football to be 100% confident.
His shot-stopping is on par with Hart's and to make a world class save you need the opportunity i.e. still within your range and I have seen him make many a world class reaction save last year, don't forget he had a double hernia last year which is gonna restrict you.
One-on-one I'd take Reina over Hart any day, Hart isn't far behind but sheer stature makes Reina a better one-on-one keeper for me, his positioning is always spot on.
Sweeping or speed out of the box is where Reina doesn't get enough credit, he is incredibly fast for a keeper and I would again say he is easily the best in the league at this and very rarely gets caught by being too slow to the ball. (Yes against Valencia but made up for it nicely.)
Catching, I always struggle to rate this as I believe it depends a lot on the confidence in your back four so greatly depends in which team you're playing to how you can be evaluated and I would say again due to Hart's lack of height that Reina comes out again on top.
I think the only thing Hart beats Reina on is speed of recovery, the speed he gets back to his feet is truly outstanding and does allow for more double stops but besides that I think Reina has him for now, but Hart has age on his side and will without doubt improve into an outstanding keeper.

lol my turn, agree with everything you said except I believe hart is probably a better decision maker and thus reader of where the shots going to go.
The fact Reian comes off his line quickly is both a plus and a minus, because the occasions when he does come off his line and it's more or less a one on one he plain and simply rushes them whilst staying big. If it's any accomplished striker they bury it in the net, but it works on the strikers say who are average at best e.g ngog, carew.
Hart may not go big but he's bloody brillant at reading where the shot may go in one on ones.
Bar that it's all Reina but for me the fact Hart can be better in one on ones against the top forwards is a major coup because those are the games that make or break in the league or trophy wise.
btw i can tell this debate may go on for a while and i cba so as a red i'm happy to go for reina lol
