I'd be delighted with either Cahill or Dann. Cahill would be more expensive - not sure the club are willing to splash out for him. Dann is a scouser and LFC fan, which is a huge added bonus in my opinion. Would love to see him sign.

Apparently no truth in the cahill rumour according to coyle, he seemed rather angry about it. Dann is just a bit too slow for me, if we play carra then we need a fast centre back to get back and Dann can't do that against quick players...

Samba is not good enough in my opinion.

he has to say that he wants as many clubs as possible wanting his player as he knows he cant keep him he wants a bidding war. having said that he did look very annoyed about the rumour.

Samba is a great guy to have on ya team when you are playing the physical teams and against physical strikers like Drogba but against more technical opponents, they'll skin him alive.

but i do like that he plays with his heart on his sleeve and is a great motivator by example. he is also slightly faster and more dominant in the air than Soto.

Tbh, i'd see him as more of a (long term) successor to Carra rather than a partner for him. Much depends on whether Agger can kick his injury problems to touch though.
