johnson, carra, agger need to be replaced asap. they shud not be in the starting 11......why ie
Johnson can not defend, that is his job as a defender. and [oops] all this BS about how good he is going forward. defenders shud learn to defend 1st.
carra, i wud use in certain games.
agger, if bayern offer 10m, i wud sell him, or keep him and play him evry other week, he can not play 3/4 games on the bounce.

I wud try and sign ie richards, sakho, dann, cissokho asap as these four players will provide the needed pace, xperience, height and they can all defend.

I am not going to judge the defense on pre-season. Yes we need a CB and a LB this thread is being a little over-dramatic

its just pre-season. Yes you may argue all the other teams are winning. But this sort of thing always happens. Relax, take it easy.

richards isnt as good as johnson or kelly imo. dann is no better than carra and nowhere near as good as agger. PSG are gazillionairres nowadays so why would they sell they're best prospect a future club and country captain? cissokho i wouldn't mind us buying him but apparently he ain't all that defensively.

Things will get much better when Lucas is back playing. We have had no one in pre-season protecting the back four like he has been.

to a certain extent I agree with the main post, Johnson is shockingly bad as a defender and is not a right midfielder.!!! Carra has been a bit of a liability so far this pre season and it`s a little worrying to see him so out of touch.Not sure all of those listed are the answer though.
As for this it`s only pre season rubbish, get a life. Winning breeds confidence, conceeding 3 goals per game does not. None of the other top 5/6 are loosing games let alone 3 goals per game.
