"Palermo playmaker Javier Pastore is just hours away from being sold as club president Maurizio Zamparini announces his departure.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been linked with a plethora of clubs across Europe including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Roma, Manchester City, Inter and AC Milan.
The latest reports have claimed that Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are the two sides closest to landing the Argentina ace in a 45 million euro deal.
Zamparini did not disclose who he is dealing with, but said the matter will be resolved within hours.
"I will only speak after the sale. We are closing, it's just a matter of hours," Zamparini told Sky Sport Italia.
Vice-president Guglielmo Micciche echoed the patron's comments and told Calciomercato.it: "There are talks in place and it is Zamparini who is dealing with them. Paris and London are both nice cities."
Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia is claiming that Salvatore Sirigu has joined PSG. The Ligue 1 side will reportedly pay the Italians 3.5 million euros for the Italy international goalkeeper."
Alright so they want 50m or something for him and Chelsea is in pole position to get him right now. Honestly think he'll go for about 35m. Wondering what everyone thinks of the kid, would you like to see him in LFC if we had the funds? Can play either wing, midfield, or just behind the striker.
