I need a bit of help. I am looking to get hold of a dvd or video of my first game at anfield to show my young lad. It was december 91/92 season vs notts forest. We won 2-0 and it was Steve McMahon's last ever game for us. I cant even find the goals anywhere on the net. Please help this nostalgic old fool

If every source fails,re-create the goals in your local park,like on skinner & badiel's fantasy football programe.Don't forget to film it!Sorted.

tried it only jan molby scored a free kick that got a huge deflection off one of their players ar5es and i can never get that bit right

Have you tried emailin the bbc?

I would write to the PR department c/o Anfield and try the major broadcasters as suggested

1991/92 was before the BBC had the rights. It was pre-Premier League so games were on ITV back then.

The club should be able to help or put you in touch with someone who can.

If you have serious problems then I probably still have the season video knocking around somewhere

Incidently McMahon's last game was the following game against Man City, who he joined shortly afterwards.

Have you tried LFC.tv? They seem to Kop 10 programmes every now & then with footage i'd forgotten about. They might be able to help you.

granada might be able to help - didn't they have the rights back then?? seems like they were the ones releasing the videos anyway .... though in them days they weren't as easy to get hold of ...... i seem to remember having to send away for the video of our thrashing of palace 9-0
