My vote is for Suarez too. I think he's one level above Kuyt.

Kuyt has a 100% record - you can't beat that! smile I don't even remember a poor penalty that still went in. They'll all been empahatic finishes. He's lethal with them. Hope i haven't put the curse on him now...

Kuyt is the best pen taker in Liverpool but when Gerrard plays, he takes them off everyone else.

Maybe it's time for that to change?

I remember one time a few years ago Gerrard saying "that's me done with them" (penalties) after he'd missed one or two in a short period of time.

I think it's more often than not that Kuyt will not be on the field (unfortunately) and in that case I believe our best bet is definitely Suarez.

That's an interesting thought evans. You think Kuyt will take a back seat (on the bench) with suarez or maybe henderson on the right? I just have no idea what our formation or starting 11 will be. In some way it's a nice problem to have to actually have too many good players to fit into a team.

Precisely, At the current moment I believe we'll end up with a front three of Suarez Carroll and Downing. Kuyt will get game time no doubt but I don't think he'll be a starter to begin with,

I'd like Kuyt to be a 3rd choice striker to replace Carroll when the big man isn't working. Suarez and Kuyt link up brilliantly and will give a different style of play.
