hopefully gerrard gets taken off that duty for now and we give adam and downing a go as well as suarez who had some great efforts last season.
for once we have a potential to cause damage from corners and free kicks aroud the area. adams free kicks in the past have been fantastic. remember that one against cardiff in the final of the play offs!
Certainly looking forward to Adam's freekicks and diagnal passes. I agree, we need to get Gerrard off corners and make him get in the box instead where he will be a big threat. Suarez and Adam to take the close freekicks as well.
We have a richness of free/corner takers now, and with Gerrard on the edge of the box and Carroll wrecking havoc inside, I expect a bagful of goals from free's this season!
I'm looking forward to seeing some nice set pieces next year how long is it since we had options like that? Luis free kicks around the box last year were lethal and Adam can hit them too SG and SD good combo of left and right footers.
bloody hell, its like we have 5 Junininihos in our team now, I think the free kicks will be a mix up between the players, where as the corners should be regularly taken by Adam who can dart them in real well.
