sooner or later we will have a new stadium and when its built we need to make sure it has great acoustics like anfield - so when other teams come to it they crumble with the noise - ynwa - jft96 Modern stadia do have great acoustics ever been to the millenium ?

but what do we really mean when we say 'value' deakin. In real terms: man city are worth diddly , zero , big fat zilch! Even big spending they wont actually ever win a trophy, I think they have sympathy from lfc fans just because they are not manure but I hate man city! To be honest I hate them as much as i hate villa. Oh and while I'm on the subject I also hate chelsea, but who doesnt outside chelsea, Arsenal and spurs I can tolerate and the other smaller clubs but not the ones listed above sorry to go off topic, on the subject of naming rights, well if its not a fiddle to balance the books then I dont' know what is, but let them do it they wont win anything, I think it would be nice to see them do a stadium share with ferguson's team though, that lack of success from mancity could become contagious Are you for real sayin City wont win a trophy, did you blank out last season's F.A.Cup. Man City will in the next 5 years win the League and Premier league with there money it cant not happen, you only have to see what happend with Chelsea to see what money does and City can have any player on the planet if they wanted him badly enough, or even 11 of the best players and not even feel it. City will win the title within 3 years. I can hear the laughing now but you watch.

I have all those thoughts in mind too stanley,i would hope we can do it within the walls of the city,but mine is only one opinion and i doubt they will take any notice of me, i can but hope though,it is an ideal its not set in stone,there are bigger spaces in manchester as there knocking down alot of old houses there,and they have a better airport than us so we could put that to better use .

I have a sneaky feeling city may win it stanley. they should do if the money spent is anything to go by,but is it.

ok maybe burtonwood is a non starter , but i cant see stanley park happening and making do with anfield will mean the club going backwards .

I cant think of many spaces tbh but burtonwood is good idea if we have to go elsewhere its crying out for a great stadium.no worries about neighbours either.

I havnt heard any quotes for a new stadium anyone want to guess what a 70 thou would cost?

I havnt heard any quotes for a new stadium anyone want to guess what a 70 thou would cost? problem with stanley park is it bad enough now getting 44'000 to and away from anfield and unless roads and infrastucture is included it going to be much much worse getting 60-70'000 to and from anfield .

Yeah i would imagine the council will negotiate for the infastructure,wont be easy tho,do you have an idea what u think 70 thou would cost./
