Aguero has a buyout clause of like £39million and no doubt anyone would love to have him but realistically speaking, with the team we have now where would he fit in?
Obviously we're trying to build around Carroll and if he's not up to the job we have an able replacement in Kuyt so I don't think we'd be buying Aguero now to start ahead of Carroll nor on the bench in place of Carroll.
Sure, we could play Carroll and Aguero together and arguably push Suarez to the right but would that be wise considering the vast numbers we have in midfield?
The only other thing I could think of was to play Aguero Carroll and Suarez as a front 3 but that leaves no room for Stuart Downing.
Thoughts?
The buyout clause only relates to Spanish clubs. As for him wanting to play for LFC I'd take that with a pinch of salt along with any player proclaiming undying love for a club (let me guess, it was misinterpreted in a tabloid several years ago when they were pretending we were interested in him 1st time around? same old story).
Finally, are we interested in him? There's as much chance of us being interested in him and getting him as there is with turan, hazard, mata etc - in other words, not a chance. He's foreign, so it's probably not even worth discussing.
