im just joking of course I dont know what he needs to do however everytime I see photos of Carroll a pint isnt too far away.

He does seem a bit more sluggish than the rest but it is pre season after all and he was out at the end of last season with that 'injury' sustained just after a punch up involving his and nolans minders just after the newcastle game.

I'm sure if you look at photos with yourself im them your probably stood next to a male. Does that make you a homosexual?

I havnt said he an alcoholic alls Ive said is that as an athlete he should knock ale on the head, even the england manager knows what hes like and slated him earlier this year remember that? Hes notorious in the toon for his party ways and hes now started a bit of a rep around this city.

I like carroll and hope he gets 20 goals a season however it cannot be ignored that he seems very very sluggish compared to the other guys in asia. As I say thought its only pre season and he did miss a lot of football last summer.

Carroll is doing just fine in preseason... Don't worry about him. Quick question though, do you think we will sign a back up striker or will N'Gog be given another half season? Do you reckon he has done enough in preseason so far to impress Kenny?

The problem with NGog is that he often looks great against inferior teams, like in the group stages in Europa League last year. But as soon as we play tougher teams (any team in EPL for example) you can see that he instantly gets out of his deapth!

I say let him go to a Championsship team and he'll shine for them!

Andy Carroll is doing just fine at the moment. It is only in the second week of pre-season. And he is not even playing in the same atmosphere as in England. European players seems to struggle with Asian condition. The temperature can reach 30C and humidity can reach higher that 90%. The heat and humidity is making some players not performing well. I followed the recent Lion City Cup in Singapore for the U-16 teams. Invited teams like Everton , Newcastle and Juventus really struggled. They make use of every stop of play to have a drink. So that explains why European teams are struggling when they play in Asia. Andy Carroll might have found it tough to cope with the condition in Asia. Let's give him time to regain full fitness and show us what he can do. If he really struggle then we should be critical of him as we as Liverpool fan will know who is not performing. So guys , let's not be so hard on him. So far he has been on the bad side of King Kenny and club yet , so I think he has matured a little as compared to when he was donning the shirt of Newcastle. Go Andy...

I agree with you. he has been with us 6mths now and to be honest on a whole been a little disapointing. If Kenny/Steve were to have any influence I would have thought that it would have shown by now, it clearly hasn't as he has at best lumbered around so far in his Liverpool career. He for me has got alot to do over the next month to get ready phsically and mentally for the new season. He should not receive abuse but it's a two way street if fans see you pulling your tripe out you will get time and support if not then I see the vultures circling by september. Very much in his hands I suspect.
