Anyone else worried about him like me?

Watched him during pre-season and seems that he's not as nimble and commanding as he was while at barcodes. He looked a tad bit over-weight and wasn't as fast I thought he was. To top it off, he looked a bit lazy as well. His off the ball running was nearly non-existent.

Ok it's still early in preseason but even Ngog seems to want it more than him and that worries me.

Great another thread complaining and worrying about Carroll's ability and the price tag and so on and so forth. This has been done how many times now?

Well Snakeye I think you might need to get used to this. I have feeling there are going to be a lot of these threads this year. I hope I am wrong though

What do you expect snakeye? Just pretend that all is well and that nothing has happened?

Nothing has happened yet mate. If it was after a full season then I would be concerned as well but just give him time, Atleast until January. Let him prove himself.

Yeah, why don't we just stop pretending and start bagging our players before they've got fit and played. Snake eye, how could you be so cold. Why are you showing support and optimism to our players when they've done nothing during pre season?

Thats exactly what has happened. Nothing!

Give the lad a break. Its the second game of preason. Its all about fitness and finding your touch at this stage. The team is missing Dowing, Henderson and Gerrard.

All is not well with Carroll's facial hair imo.

Carroll needs to stay away from the ale for the season.

How do any of us know what he needs to do? None of us know him!

I'm pretty sure he'll be ok under the careful eye of Kenny and Steve Clarke.
