Henderson played half of last season on the right side for Sunderland, not a huge step of intuition to think he might figure for us on the flank. I think he will be a utility player at first, cover in the middle, playing on the right as needed if we switch between 4 3 3 and 4 4 2

its a poxy friendly agains poor players, our defence is very poor WE NEED A NEW CENTRE BACK AND A LEFT BACK THATS OBVIOUS TO SEE.
I dont pay much attention to results at this stage as its all about fitness, Ngog always scores against poor opposition like he did last summer in the qualfiers.
Get rid of Ngog and as for Aqualani hes playing against player a quarter of his ability so lets eee how he does come august if he stays guys.

exactly lads. pre season performances from individuals means nothing, aqualani is a class player no doubt about it, but is he up to the pace and hustle of the Premier league?
I am looking forward to the next few friendlys against better opposition particualrly the valencia game

And thats why I want Ngog out. He is having a good pre-season but he usually does and then fails to replicate the form in the pl. If I remember correctly, he scored against Arsenal in the beginning of the season then disapeared.
Back to Back World Champions baby!

I agree Snakeye. Ngog seems to start with a bang but always end up very quiet. Much as we like to see him go off , he had got into the owner's good book. Let's hope this is just a strategy from the owners to jerk up the price for David Ngog. But I might not be too disappointed if he are given one more season to prove himself as I believe he will only start on the earlier rounds of the cup competitions. He will be behind Andy Carroll , Luis Suarez and Dirk Kuyt in the pecking order. I might not be surprised if King Kenny rate Daniel Pacheco and Adam Morgan better than him. Just hope that John Henry is not Roman Abramovich who wants to get involve in team selections...

ngog has no strength on the ball and his first touch is poretty poor as is his hold up play. added to the fact he gets bullied by centre backs. just get rid of this fella, even me ma woulda scored half them goals he has pre season all on a plate.

I think that Ngog's situation will solely depends on whether we get another striker on board. We have Dirk Kuyt on board but we need players to play in the early rounds of the domestic cups and giving all our strikers some rest time. Adam Morgan would do great but we need a striker with first team experience too. So if Liverpool wants to get rid of Ngog , then make sure we have the replacements ready. I would not want us to repeat the situation at the Left Back position last season...
