No, no shared stadium for one thing what would Everton bring to the party ? They don't have the funds to even pay a quarter of the cost. A stadium on the waterfront would be nice though all lit up at night. But would be hard to get to though and all the waterfront project is allocated for commercial stuff they don't want fottball traffic getting in the way of that

i agree about the situtaion everton are in but as much as i dont care about EFC we sadly have to live in the real world and money is the issue along with infrastructure and the likes and i have always been against it but maybe we should be bigger than them not in size but in morals and sort something or both clubs are very likely to be left behind in years to come .

I was the same as you, totaly against a groundshare, but in todays current climate, it's probably the way to go. I know Liverpool City Council have wanted this for years and if ever there was a place where sharing a ground would work it would be here. I would still favour a move up to Birchwood/ Halewood area myself though with a fan park and park and ride schemes linking the city with the new stadium.

no liverpool fan really wants this but if it means liverpool progress and hopefully cheaper tickets and more locals getting tickets , then its an option that must be looked at closely , ok EFC would improve as well but to us in the city surely that is a good thing for the ecomony of the city maybe jobs ETC ETC

The waterfront is a world heritage site as you know! there are already problems developing the front now because of that status, the city will have to relinquish that title to develop anything further, let alone a football ground,I'm not sure there willing to do that, also i think Everton had that option years ago, never took it so now i think that ships sailed. It would look great though!i would be totally against any groundshare no matter what.

I don't care about the tag tbh, who needs a label with a waterfront like ours,it speaks for itself doesn't it,but how many years will it take them to get off there butts to sort that little request out!? smirk

The waterfront has already been given planning and is being built as we speak. I am sure the heritage will be maintained and surely Liverpool one and the recent buildings on the front are a good thing? I think its starting to look great now. I don't think a stadium could go there I don't think there is the space any more. I am against groundshare because I cannot see what LFC would gain from it. We and Everton are not equal partners. As for the moral argument I am afraid I don't get that. This is business and should be run on commercial grounds. If the moral side is they key why Everton why not Tranmere also ?

i agree but i only say it because i just dont know if LFC will build a new stadium and if a joint stadium was more of a prospect then needs must in the current money climate
