yeh red ns! they suggested itl do up to 7o,but i think it will if they design upwards which does take more ground for parking etc,i suppose our present ground would have to soak up the spill of cars, but until all the designs are in i think its touch and go but upwards! a possiblity! i hope! ;)oh! did i not mention we could simply bulldoze the shed area! you know! goodison,

aparently we cant build anfield up cos the residents will have no light,so i dont think well have that problem on the park site,so we cud go up abit more. hence a few more seats.

I remember Mr Burns pulled a stunt like that once and he ended up getting shot, so I don't think we'll be taking any risks.

anfield is a right hell hole, whole area needing a facelift and the club is to blame for most of the decay in anfield/breckside area with the years of buying up street and houses and leaving them empty .

Anfield as an area is too landlocked I would rather we build a new stadium on stanley park than revamped Anfield which would lock the club in forever with a 55k / 60 k max. But as others have said the real best solution is to build away from Anfield and there are plenty of sites with the best in my view being Speke for the second to nowhere transport links.

The light part probably would'nt come into it if it was built in the park, what would come into it would be the roads around there is no way on earth you could have 70k people around there. I could just see it now the game finishing about 5 and people sitting gridlocked in there cars beeping there horns about 8 or 9 o'clock at nite stuck, the residents of the area would love that. The big thing about when they spoke about it last time was how to get people to and from a bigger stadium, they said the Club would have to pay for widening of roads, traffic lights and open up a disused railway line and open a station on it to get people away from the area. So you see it's no easy thing making this move and it will cost alot more than just the price of the stadium. We need to move outside of Liverpool that for me is the sensible option.
