I know it was only a friendly but it was a bit disappointing to see us let Guangdong back into the game right at the end so cheaply. I know the result on it's own is irrelevant, and today was about fitness but as a team we should be trying to win every single game as convincingly as possible, regardless of opposition or relevance. It's about attitude.
On the individual side of things, I found it amusing to see Poulsen cooly volley home the opening goal! Carroll did well, Kuyt was his usual self, Carragher played like it was a league game (good man!). Not sure if Aquilani looked like he wanted to there - he had a few decent touches and passes but seemed 'elsewhere'.
