guys i appologise if this have been posted before but i just wana know who is better young or downing as both are good wingers feel free to give your views

Personally i always liked downing. According to me he is the most underrated player. And i dont like that young's attitude. That is why kenny never really wanted young.

Id rather downing and my money is on him having mor treads about him than any other non LFC player!!! Taking the title from now LFC player Charlie Adam.
Cant put my finger on what i dont like about Young but I dont like him and now he is a manc I hate the *******.

Young for me is clearly the better player. Most assists in the league, more intelligent play, faster, more attributes to his game, more skill, etc etc I could go on. I do however think Downing will compliment Carroll more, and we can actually get Downing, we didnt have a hope of signing young.

both have there good and bad points. think downing can be more consistent and is a better all round player. young is quite direct an blows hot and cold. would have signed them both meself like

Downing was their best player last season, so...

i prefer to be young.

hate the idea of drowning.

not totally convinced by downing,but i feel he would give us genuine width like reira did.
can't be any worse than sicknote kewell !
