john barnes better than ronaldo??? is this the same ronaldo that scored 45 goals in 1 season and broke all the goal scoring records in la liga last season, come on lads theres being bias and theres just plain wrong. i loved barnes but theres no way he was better than ronaldo..

fowler and rush must be 40mil+.
barnes around the 45mil.
one ive thought about is jan molby. alonso couldn't lace his boots so he must be worth 30mil+

i'd say barnes better as a premier league/1st division player, ronaldo more gifted and in a league now that suits him more, barnes regularly turned players inside out and was stronger, but its marginal

id have to disagree, i loved barnes brilliant to watch, but just dont think he was in the same bracket as ronaldo,barnes was never even close to being the best player in the world, ronaldo won it and if it was nt for the genius messi he would have won it for the last 3 years.still think barnes would be worth 40 mill tho, imagine him in our team now puttin in crosses for carroll unstoppable.

Well said. On pure footballing ability, Ronaldo is much better than Barnes ever was - and much more consistent. I hate to admit it, but if you want credibility you have to credit where it's due.

seriously though,if sky tv/champs league was as big then as it is now,barnes would be in 50mill price bracket no probs

I agree with Stanley Park, Barnes was better than Ronaldo, so he'd have to be rated very highly haha. Fowler - 40M Jamie Redknapp - 25M Steve McManaman - 30M Stan Collymore - 20M Didi Hammann - 15M Sami Hyypia - 10MJerzy Dudek - 8M My valuations are probably way off, take them as you will.  Only £10m for Sami!? I think Barca were linked with a bid of over that for him even way back when! I'd double that for Sami at his best. He was phenomenal. What a rock he was for us

i agree with you andy, i cant stand ronaldo his attitude is dreadfull, but where talking about football ability and the women can play
