But how would people feel about the return of Xabi Alonso?
Ha, Ha, dublinredken, you just found yourself a baptism of fire! You got the hit squad on your case right off!! All you need now is Growler (who seems to have slipped his leash) As a relatively new member myself may I offer you a welcome also.
Its very unrealistic in my opinion, Xabi has been here and done it all, he had some success as well but I think he would stay in Madrid who are beginning a new era for themselves and starting to become successful again. We are also not the team we use to be when he was around a few years back so I wouldn't count on him joining us again if big money is involved. He is a great player but surely there are players out there in his mould who can do a great job for us if we wanted to invest in that position.
