So with the so called 'imminent' transfer of Connor Wickham to Sunderland , does that means that we are keeping David Ngog on our payroll instead of packing him off to Sunderland too?
And with another one of our so called target attacker's target gone to another club , so who should we start to bid for now? Nolan Roux from France or maybe Keisuke Honda from Japan.
I would love the typical English centre forward type of player. Deadly in the air and dangerous on ground too. Someone in the mould of Ian Rush. We know what Andy Carroll can bring to us , so we need a cover for him in case he gets injury. In Luis Suarez , Steven Gerrard and Dirk Kuyt we have all the hard running and trickery that we want. Just some target man whom can be deadly in the box. And at this moment , I would love one man if we can purchase as a target man. Kevin Davies of Bolton. Seems like he's a good target man to lay off all the headed high balls into opponents half to on rushing fellow strikers and midfielders. At least that's what I see and some defenders in the Premier League do have a problem when they face him.
Just My Thoughts YNWA...

I would rather we spend this 13m on an established player that will really improve our 1st team than focus on potential for the future. Our 1st team is still weak in certain areas like LB, LW, RW and to a certain extent - CM even though we have a lorry full of CM of which many are deadwood.
I really hope kenny and comolli gets this summer right. Otherwise we'll not only be wasting millions of pounds, but we'll also be the laughing stock of the league.

I'm sure that no one outside of the club actually knows so I wouldn't necessarily believe any paper/internet talk....otherwise you'll end up believing that Jovanovic is on £120k!!

I would be suprised if N'Gog is on any where near what the likes of Joe Cole and Jovanovic are on. He was bought in as a youngster and I don't remember him being given a bumper pay deal.
As for Wickham, I hope we can get him. Would rather not spend silly money on him but if thats what it takes to secure the best young talent then why not? We've all moaned in the past that we haven't competed in the transfer market for this type of player. Now we are we're still moaning!
