I echo that. Seen a lot of Downing and think he is supremely average, largely ineffectual and also injury prone. N'zogbia by far the more talented but has a serious attitude problem and we don't need it. I would rather we played a formation without wingers than sign either of those two.

We should go for Mark Albrighton, best young Villa player by far.

hard one downing more or a manufacturing winger and gets his crosses in and is always there to lach onto a cross, plus downing defensivly will be good when the full back goes up he will be there to cover.

but n'zogbia techniquely is better and more of a flair but sometimes dosn't work that well with the full back


as an individual player i would say n'zpogbia, but which one do i think would fit into liverpool and i would rather wearing a liverpool t-shirt downing.

i dunno who is the better player.but i think that downing is the better player for our team.

To be honest, at this point I'll take either.
Both will offer something completely different and don't need time to adapt to the physicality of the premier league.
For all we know, NZogbia may become a star in a class team, yet Downing is possibly the best player to compliment Andy Carroll.
Time will tell.
