Who would you prefer/which do you think would be the best signing for us?

I think this argument is swayed by the fact that Downing is english, which is seen as a plus, and that's a fair point, but i just wonder could N'Zogbia offer more to the team as an attacking and creative force.

Word is that we'll sign Downing which will pave the way for Villa to sign N'Zogbia from Wigan. In this scenario who's getting the best deal here? I'm not convinced that it'd be us...

Thoughts?

N'Zogbia for me from what i have read he would be nearer half the price of downing to

N'Zogbia if Downing would cost as much as stated. For the same money Downing.

Let's forget the fees for a minute as they are purely tabloid gossip..random numbers pulled from the sky. I think Downing is the better player by far. Besides, hasn't N'Zogbia, along with many others, already blown us out? I though he said he'd only leave to play for a club playing europe....

N'Zogbia for me defo. Younger, Quicker, more skillful, scores more.

I think he means that as a player he prefers Nzomnia but thinks Dowing would suit our formation and style of play better so he'd rather have downing?
