Anyone else feels as well that this could have been a steal had Liverpool made the effort to sign him?

Established Croat international, good left foot, only 25, some deft touches, can play mid or on the left wing.....

May have been a slightly better option than Lucas?

2m was a bargain for this player. Would have been a good addition to our squad for that money...

dunno i hear a lot of rumbling from pompey fans about how lazy he is from before he was on his way ...... not convinced he is anywhere near good enough anyway

i dunno him either - but the pompey fans i know were glad to see the back of him so it says it all i think ..... thats not to say he wont be a success there mind

Maybe Rafa thot he was useless, maybe there was no money, we will never know.....

i think the fact he was available for that little says he wasn't worth the wages personally

well when purslow lump the contract re-signing fees, etc. together with the sum available for new signings, obviously we are not getting any more new player. rafa did whatever he could with 2 million - bought the greek defender to plug the crisis in defence.
