I don't think its true, and if it is true, then its bad form on his part to be saying recently that he would be prepared to return to LFC and then so soon afterwards go to MU. I regard him as an exceptional midfielder and way, way better than G Barry, however if he is doing this he will go down in my estimation!

Hows it pathetic? The hero worship he gets on here can be pathetic upon times after having one good season with the club playing for a move because Rafa tried to flog him and replace him with someone who he thought was better!!!. because he was a great player shafted by benitez and he deserves hero status Great great player, and I'd love to see him back, but come on will you. Shake yer 'ed. HERO?
