Muller is probably one of only a list of about 10 people i haven't seen us linked with this transfer window.

I don't think Downing is the player for us, its a shame we've missed out on Young if he moves to scum, but I agree that Mata would be a very positive signing. This is what we've need for a long time, competition for places and not rely on the spine of the team to carry each game. One question thought if Liverpool complete the signing of Adam what formation will we play if we sign a winger, Kuyt dropped? and play 4-3-3

Whilst the preferred choice would be Mata I'd be happy with N'Zogbia as a fall back option or failing that Downing who during his time Villa shown himself to be a considerably better player than i once thought

Yes fully agree Jim its time to sort out the wings, for some time now the consensus seems to centre on Mata and Hazard and I for one would be happy with one or both of them! If we cant get either of them then I think I would prefer N'zogbia over Downing.

Everyone talks as though Adam is a done deal and appear to be very happy about it! I must have been watching a different Adam towards the end of last season as I thought he was at best ordinary. I know he played better in the earlier part of the season but at his age he should be able to last a full season. Am I the only person on this site who wont cry any tears if he doesn't come to LFC?

I dont want Adam, he is too slow and wont fit into the liverpool setup
