pace is a great assist to have. am sure raul would have scored a few more goals if he had a bit more pace. pace isnt a must for a striker but it does help

i'd imagine him to move to Arsenal but i know Newcastle and us are also interested

he is as tall as carroll maybe even a little taller. but he isn't as big and strong. he reminds a lot of torres, he isn't the fastest but he's still faster than most defenders really good with the ball at he's feet. he has the potenial to be the complete striker. after missing out on jones i really hope we can get wickham and mata in the beg.

I know youve mentioned it but definate strong rumour that Jones has failed his medical at Manure. Do you reckon KK will go in for him now at a cheaper price knowing that hes failed the medical or completely forget about him? I for one would prefer Scott Dann hes a proven cb and always looked decent when we played against Birmingham

Although not confirmed, he has failed his medical because of that injury. if we really want him, now is the time to throw in a monkey ranch.

Why buy him now? He wanted to go to the Scum and he failed a medical. We shouldn't touch him with a barge pole now! We should have learned our lesson with buying injured / injury prone players.
