Fair enough, but I'm making the point that one can't always assume that indifference on the part of clubs supposedly bigger than Liverpool implies the player is not suited to our needs.

I know what your on about. Just because a player comes from a club like Wigan means he's not good enough. Fergie didnt have a problem splashing 18mil on Valencia.

Problms is I dont think Nzogbia is in the same class as Valencia.

You're completely right Murph, he isn't anywhere near valencia's class.

And suso you do make me laugh, messi is 4 times the player N'zogbia is at least. I don't see why you have such a boner for him when he isn't that good. And we clearly go on different forums bar this one, because this is the only place I've seen that people even entertain the idea of n'zogbia being a good buy.

That's certainly true. But he's in a much higher class than Maxi! smile

I really don't know who we should be looking at buying to solve our LW/LM problem, tbh. Someone who can cross for Carroll? Someone who can help Suarez tear up the RB/RCB players? I have have some hindsight in this comment, but if Carroll and Suarez are injured equally often I think Suarez will spend significantly less time on the sidelines recovering, which surely makes him more important to the performance of the team (especially since he integrated with the squad in a matter of minutes). He's also shown he can carry the side, while Carroll has not demonstrated that Suarez needs him as a foil. I don't think we need a Messi/Ronaldo cut-them-to-ribbons kind of wide player, but anyone signed purely for his ability to cross a ball will be largely wasted if Carroll falls off another barstool.

i have no boner nor any kind of affiliation towards nzogbia but i dont think young is twice the player he is. if you dont think nzogbias good enough for us then thats fair but dont give me the crap abt him being half the player young is.

we should agree to disagree before we get into a slagging match

Young and Maxi aren't in the same bracket either, so your comment is rather pointless.
