Well i refuse to bitch and moan because a few years ago we were complaing about why didn't we shell out for Rodwell, Rooney, Walcott, Alves, Ronaldo, Vidic when we had the chance waa waa waaaaaa. Exactly how is it that Liverpool can make there fans happy.
Because the last regime (Parry and Moores/Americans) seemed content to stand with there arms crossed that clubs were being unreasonable that they weren't going to throw in another couple of mil to finish the deal and look where that got us.
We wanted Henderson for 16m Sunderland want 20m. TIE THE DEAL UP WHO CAAAAARES. 4m wouldn't buy you a bag of pick and mix in todays market. If Kenny thinks Henderson and Jones are the next big things then sign them up (I agree about Jones but haven't seen enough of Henderson).
Great to see us buying in some young english talent and forking out the dough instead of falling down to our 4th and 5th choice and ending up with Pennant again.
first, i don't think anyone is moaning about the money involved, people are very excited about us spending some real money. people are just not sure if henderson is the right player for us to be spending that money on. its brilliant to see us possible splashing some cash. just hope these deals come to fruition
