how is barton a creative midfielder? he isn't even half as creative as meireles or gerrard. we don't need a CM unless we can find a world-class one Unbelievable. Bartons not a creative midfielder. His main role at Newcastle last season was to provide service from the right of midfield. Of carrolls 12 goals at Newcastle Barton was the provider of 10 of them. That not creative enough????

seems very low for a buy out clause, they are usually horribly high. if true marseille may have shot themselves in the foot

Barton is a midfielder we crave for when rm is shitting out v ur stokes wigans n boltons of this world. Where still to soft away at times, and battlers get u results. Barton is a battler and a quality footballer. Get him to put the two together and we've got are next McMahon. Although he's far off from such a compliment we do need a bit of steel in midfield

lucas, spearing and gerrard are hard enough also next season hopefully we'll have a lot more possession witch's makes games away to stoke and the like a lot easier
