i don't think anyone should question his ability as a footballer. it's his short fuse and antics on and off the field that are most alarming. theres many pro's and cons to this transfer. if kenny thinks he's good enough that would be good enough for me but i still think we could be targeting better options

believe it or not barton has recruited a pr manager to help him clean up his act. i heard it on the radio last week and forgot to mention it. made me wonder why the big effort, scouse bound?

[oops] Barton. He is old and will not improve the squad abit. He is just gonna Suck up the wages and warm the bench. Lets move on for the other options. He is best at mid table clubs. Kenny once said that we're going to go for someone who can or will improve the squad. We'll see about that during the transfer.

is barton better than lucas and/or spearing? maybe but only a little bit and if they both keep improving at the rate they did last season then in a couple of years they'll both be twice the player of barton. useless stupid signing. all of a sudden we're getting linked with some right sh!t

i don't think he's a bad player at all. he's deffo just had his best season imo. its just his attitude that stinks and because he acts like a tosser the media and majority of people automatically perceive him as sh!t. not sure if he's the right kind of player we should be looking at in terms of personality but i reckon we need someone with a similar style. we're crying out for a creative player in midfield imo and barton would fill that gap and also do his bit in defence. he's a nob yes, but not a bad player
