Yes I am so happy, Barcelona won. Not because it was against United, but I just love Barcelona as much as I love Liverpool.

I just love the way they play football!!!!
Above all, I would like to be remembered as a man who was selfless, who strove and worried so that others could share the glory, and who built up a family of people who could hold their heads up high and say
'We're Liverpool'.

...and lost heavily while being outplayed for the entire game. Reinforces what I've been saying all season - Man U is in decline, and the teams who couldn't beat them also. That may change in the summer, but the big 4 all went into meltdown after the recession. We're first to recover, Chelsea are still screwing around, Wenger's team is shot, and United won't win again without another no 7. The scum are still favourites next season, because the pretenders (City, us) aren't up there yet, but we'll see about that, won't we?

Am I reading THAT correctly, or is it a typo? Can someone chiuck a large bucket of water over Aldo too please as I fear his brain is going into meltdown.

Only just found out the result. Sounds as though Barca gave the scumbags a damned good toasting. ALMOST wish I'd stayed in to watch it now, but the temptation of going down to the village square to watch the grass grow was just too overwhelming.

Best post of the thread award. +1 It's going to be LFC surging onwards and upwards next season, whilst the others are floundering around trying to find first gear. Sh1teh are going to be sniffin' around too maybe.
