A few points on some of the comments made. There certainly needs to be first team players coming in, on both wings we are weak, left back weak, cb position weak, and lucas despite having an amazing season lacks a bit of creativity at times. Contrary to what a lot of people say, it is our squad that isn't far from being good, Kuyt Maxi spearing etc are all great squad players, but need to be replaced in the first team.
Shane long and Downing as targets epitomizes everything that's wrong with Liverpool transfer policy. If we go for either of them we have taken 2 steps forward in January only to take 2 steps back again in the summer. House I honestly don't get this not ready for a player like sanchez business...he would quite obviously massively improve our first team. Players like him are exactly what we need. They win you the games against park the bus opposition and keep full backs busy all game.
Downing I dont mind but if we are spending big this summer then we shouldbe looking else where. Shane Long will never be bought just isn't good enough. Sanchez defo get him now, break the bank for him and Mata and we have the wings sorted out. then get our left back, centre back, and creative central midfielder
