Unfortunately what you say is true, emp. City have 9 points from their last 6, which is rubbish form but it's still 3 wins and 3 losses with the wins all at home (and they have 2 home games left).

But something tells me they might not care about this game either, that they need to focus on the FA Cup on Saturday, just like when they played (sh!t against) us ahead of their semi-final with United. I'm thinking scrappy draw, but maybe it'll be a 9-goal thriller?

If Spurs *do* win, then we need to be careful ahead of our weekend clash - don't wish too hard for what you want, as the saying goes.

I think Citeh will win tonight. They know that the CL is more important than the FA Cup. Seal that spot was their primary target the entire season. If they fail to get it, Mancini and that spoilt italian brat is gone.

Oh well, hope we get Europa instead as that might assist in bringing in some quality players this summer and also will give some fringe players great experience. Plus get another chance to see some collymore/nevin commentary, always cracks me up.

With the progress we've made since jan when we where 5points above the Relegation zone to on the verge of qualifying for Europe. Players across the world will see this progress and think how much more can we progress with a few extra quality players.

In truthful, we ain't that far off from challenging, but we need a massive summer, and a statement of intent again like in the jan transfer window

Ah well, pity about that own goal. Told ya City would be happy with the draw, but Spurs couldn't manage to do even that. Hoping we stuff them out of sight on the weekend to remind them they're a mid-table side that over-performed for a season.

We need 4 points for 5th, 3 if we beat Spurs.

Been thinking that maybe the CL would have been a bridge too far next season. By that I mean, had we qualified it would possibly have been to our detriment. EL is where we should be, to develop the youth and to give the newer players to the squad time to settle, rather than forcing Kenny to play his best XI every week because they're all high profile games. Maybe the EL is not what everyone wants, but maybe it's what we need, much like the appointment of Roy Hodgson was.

stupid tootenham, believe me if it was arsenal, they would of smashed them 3-4 nil, werent up for it at all and knew they were far away even with a win so they jsut gave it up. We better execute them next week and continue our fine run. A win could confirm Europa which is more or less bad news for us, oh well.

The premiership is our bread and butter no doubt and more so since scum got no 19. However, these days, CL attracts the best players so in a way i disagree too. the CL wont be to our detriment, in fact the counterfactual couldn't be more true.
