Well the tightest situation will have to be man city : 1 loss 2 draws. and liverpool winning the 2 games. 64 points for both, but we would need 4 goals.

It all depends on City's results...and I think all will be known after todays crunch game between City and Spurs...If City wins - they have it - done and dusted BUT if they fail to win (even if they draw it - the result I predict) can you imagine what kind of preasure they will throw on themselves? They are playeing for they huge salaries, for they future - because if they fail to qualify for CL - they all will be fired - City owners will just buy whole new team for next season. If City fail to win tonight - they have Stoke at home - after Cup final, and last game at Bolton...both teams can do harm them. Who could imagine that the season ending will be so interesting for us:D
But even if we fail to qualify fo CL this season - we shouldn't take it as a failure!!! We make great progress under Kenny, we've got our team spirit back - and we should not forget about it. Second part of this season is our huge win - future looks bright - no matter what happend in last games and no matter on which place we finish the league this season!!!

But I belive.......:))))))))))))

Technically we only need +3 goal difference, since City are +21 to our +18, and their goal difference after a loss and 2 draws would be +20 at best. Also if we win both both remaining games our goal difference is +20 at worst. Not sure how ties for CL qualification are separated if we finish level on points and goal difference, but Liverpool would have won more games if that counts for anything (can't look at head-to-head either, because both games between us were 3-0 to the home side). Would cause quite a bit of controversy if we went through on matches won.

Well lets just wait and see if spurs can beat city 2moro, if they pick up a win we have no chance, going to be one hell of a twist if they dont pick up those points while we do, but I think if we end up with same points/goal difference I reckon it goes back to home wins.

Well, that would be us by a greater margin then (already have won my home games than City). smile Would be an amazing twist to reach the CL after an already incredible few months.

Don't City play Spurs today?

Well, I don't think the CL qualifiers care which manager won which games. Home wins this season: United 17, Chelsea 14, Liverpool 12, Arsenal&City 11.

So if City fail to win again this season while we win both remaining games (1 home, 1 away) we beat them on every count except points and goal difference (which may end up level, though it seems like we're not too interested in only scoring the odd goal of late).

I'd be gutted if City draw all 3.

spurs better beat them its the best chance to lose a game, others game are going to be rather easy for city. is this in manchester or at the lane?
