I defer to murph75's obviously superior knowledge, but the point I was trying to make is that we should not read too much into the fact that Dani has not been played all that often and rarely starts. If you are going for promotion, and you have a team that is winning, you don't change it. Paul Lambert has been doing exactly the same with Vokes, his other loan signing.
Sometimes it can be useful to make a substitution with half an hour to go, it can present a defence with a new set of problems. The fact that both Dani's goals were scored withbin minutes of his introduction seems to prove the point.
My main concern about Dani is not about his skill - he has proved that - but whether he is suited to the physical demands of the Premiership. I think he might be much more effective back in his native Spain.

I have to disagree here. History shows that small players with skills and technic can play very well in EPL. 2 players that comes in my mind is Juninho Paulista at middelsborough and Zola at Chealsea.

I really hope that Dalglish gives him matches for the next season. But 1 year loan at a EPL team could be the best for him. ..

Yeah I hope Norwich renew or even better Bolton request a loan for him, they certainly showed in recent times they know how to groom a player.

yea i agree would be ideal for him to go back out on loan at norwich next season.

20/30 appearances in the top flight would be an excellent stepping stone for him to break into our side

You don't have to have superior knowledge to understand that he's simply not good enough. As for not changing a promotion team as soon as he went to Norwich he went straight into the 1st team and wasnt good enough to keep it. So that blows your theory out of the water. When are some of you going to realise that a lad that cant hold down a 1st team place in a championship team isnt going to be good enough for Liverpool?

at the moment i agree but pacheco has still got time to improve though murph. i think after the youth world cup the majority of liverpool fans thought he was the next messi but players don't become that good over night. when he's played in our reserves he seems to be one of the better players in the group, i think he just needs experience... thats something you can't teach

He probably does but if he's as good as some people make out surely he should have made some impression on the 1st team?

Rooney was 16 or 15 wasnt he?

Why hasnt he been able to make the step up to the 1st team then?

The difference being though Rafa that when Kelly had his opportunity he took it with both hands. Can the same be said of Pacheco?

On another point when we where short of attacking options 3 managers where reluctant to throw him in.

When are you going to realise that you are not the only person who has a valid opinion?
