As we all love football i thought i'd start a thread about the goings on in the world of football.

so do you think qpr will be demoted to the play-offs seems a bit harsh to me. maybe start next season with a points deduction making their chances of staying up basically zero. it does sound like they will be found guilty to me

Its hard to say as being "demoted" to the play offs is kind of unfair on the others unless another 2 teams are added to the play offs in the case of this one being qpr and the others who narrowly missed out although that isnt fair on the rest either! And a point deduction in prem they myt aswell not go up with no chance staying clear well unlikely. Would a hefty fine not do the trick?

In other news, Braga reached the EL final, beating Benfica on away goals. They face Porto who aren't likely to lose thanks to Falcao (scored 16 in the competition so far, which beats a 15-year-old record) and Villas Boas (still over 80% win ratio as a manager this season).

Warnock played holy hell when Sheff Utd got relegated and Tevez played for West Ham who was also owned by a 3rd party. Qpr deserve a points deduction and hopefully get dropped into the playoffs. This tosser wanted West Ham relegated! I wonder if he feels the same now? Torquay had a point deducted for playing a unregistered and also Hereford had three points taken off them for the same offence and both these players had only played in one match!

So should QPR have points deducted for feilding a player all season who they shouldnt have? One that was influential for getting them promoted? of course they should there's no arguement.

Warnock of all people should have know the impllications. Good enough for him he's a vile human being.

you make a good point about unregistered players. but this is slightly different. i think qpr are gonna get fck'd by the FA because they have broken 7 rules shocked surely breaking 1 rule on this matter would be a big fine but 7 they have fck'd right up. but what would be fair punish them this season? or punish them next season? points deduction next season would make it impossible to stay up but going up and getting relegated is still worth about 80million over the next 3/4 seasons so would that be a punishment? points deduction this season may mean going into the play offs with norwich going up as champs and notts forest getting 2nd i think that is the fairest punishment as by the sounds of it they deserve more then just a fine.

I think they will be docked points next season, and here is my reason. I heard on the radio that the FA have postponed there decision from today till after the weekend. In The Football League rules it says that the final fixture of the Football League Championship is the 46th game that every team will be playing on Saturday and not the Play-Off final. So this means the final game of the season will be on Saturday and QPR will be champions meaning promtion, so they can't take that away from them. Instead they will dock points as of next season

That would certainly be the sensible decision given it's so late in the season - but could you entrust the footballing authorities of this country to make the sensible decision - probably not

Why do Forest deserve go up 2nd? Their currently 6th in the league. Surely the team that currently finishes 3rd desrves to go up?
