A few of my mates heard rumours a few weeks ago about the fact KK is interested in bringing John Arne Riise back. I noticed today on the liverpoolfc.tv website that they are running with the story as well. Apparently he is in his final year of his Roma contract so wouldnt be that expensive. He is 30 years old now what do people think would you like to see him back or explore other options at LB. Thanks

No I certainly would not want him back. Baines would be the perfect option and I know its difficult to sign him because of the rivalry, but it can happen.

Not for me. He was great while he was here, I crnt remember a left back ever scoring the amount of goals he did but I dont think he's the same player anymore. Maybe he could return as back up but id rather see that position given to Jack Robinson.

I rated Riise in the first few years of his anfield career, but he started to show a lot of frailty in the last couple of seasons. For me it is a step backwards even if he was bought in as a deputy for a main left back, that would stop the likes of Robinson developing

Seen this rumour going about dont think it would be a bad thing although what we need is younger players now. Yes riise was a great player at liverpool but as said he doesnt seem to be the player he was back then

Lets move forwards not backwards from now on, no club takes back their old players, they buy new ones and develop them

I was really thrilled when we brought back Rush and Fowler, but bringing back Riise would not be the same, defo not worth it at all, plus the slow pace of the Italian league would have taken its toll on Riise and I doubt he would be up for the pace of the prem amnymore

Disaster!!! No chance. Stick with the young lads over him. I got sick of seeing give the ball away when he played for us!
