Hes a good player but not up there with the all time greats

The fact Gerrard came through the ranks gives him an extra added quality. However, it's Kenny for me. I'd put him second because of his ability to drag an average squad at best to silverware.

really?. i think he would. houghton and McMahon were not better than stevie, good players but not better. could you imagine him playing in the same team as Barnes and co..it would have been even better.. in my opinion.
